Thank you Rose and Lucas. I guess I really needed to get out and actually have some fun, I think I've been working too much lately.
It was a lot of fun just getting out and about, I don't think I've been out in over a year actually. Well until last night. It was fun. I felt sort of strange though
I should dress up a little bit more, it was strange to actually feel pretty. It was really great though.

When was the last time I wrote in this? What was it about? Did it matter? I don't even know. I don't even really want to look back on any of it. Seems sort of strange now. I've been at work almost every minute trying to make sure people who aren't sure were to go get fed, or that people have some kind of place to go and relax, talk to people, be okay. It's really the least that I can do.

I am not really sure what to say about the match that hasn't already been said. Sometimes words wont express a feeling. A local here drew a picture of it all. I put it on the wall in the pub, it's painful to look at, but it says a lot more than any string of words. It truly shows the horror of what the ministry did. I know things are divided, but the ministry merely divided the world even more.
I suppose besides that, things haven't been too bad. Business has been really good lately, it seems the pub is a pretty popular place, or at least it is becoming one.
The Tea shoppe is still doing well, but the pub is taking the lead. I shouldn't be surprised at all.

Someone came in yesterday asking me to buy my pub and tea shoppe. He said he couldn't believe I opened a pub next to a tea shoppe with a door between the two inside. Apparently he wanted to buy my places and turn them into chains. I told him no, he was really not happy about that. He told me he'd be back in a few days to see if I wanted to take him up on the offer. Lucas, if you see him and I'm not tell him no thank you, please.
I've been thinking a lot about the Quidditch final. Addison are you going to come up for it?
Well, I've been thinking of opening up the tea side, and the pub side and have each side themed for each team in the final for before the match, and have both sides still open for after the final to celebrate, or morn depending on the fan. I've been thinking of putting up a contest as well guessing the score, and possibly the money will go to a charity, and the winner drinks for free for a week.
Just a starting thought.

I can't believe how well it went last night! It was packed, Lucas good job behind the bar. I hope you enjoy your day off today!
It was wonderful to see it packed. It was sort of like a dream come true! It was just... Wow, amazing! It made everything just sort of come together a little bit better. It was amazing!
Yesterday was a really, really good day. I don't think I would have been able to do it with out Neville helping me calm down around lunch though! I honestly don't think I'd have been calm enough to pull it all off. The match was amazing, and I'm really happy for Alicia and Oliver, they make a really good looking couple!

I am looking forward to the Puddlemere Match. I talked to my sister today, she might be around too, but somehow I doubt she'll make it. She always is too busy for things.
The pub is doing really well. I didn't expect as many people to show up as have showed up. It's brilliant.
I'm glad that the Quidditch players in the hospital are out, or nearly out. I was worried about them, plus it means Lucas might calm down a little.
I've got a lot to do.

I just can't believe it. Everytime I turn around it feels like something bad is happening in the world. I don't want to take sides, I don't want to get involved, but sometimes I feel like I should. It just, it's terrible to read these things, good people, just leave them alone already. What does it accomplish hurting others? Ripping families apart? It's just... I'm going back to work.

Sometimes it is just as shocking to open the paper as it is to just look around the world. It seems impossible to know which one is going to hurt you more or less.

Part of me feels terrible to want to write about the pub, but it is going very well. I've managed to get most of it set up. Having Addison around is really helpful as well, she is off visiting our parents at the moment. I decided not to go, so I could work...

I love having Addison around more now. She's been helping me get everything cleaned out of the new area. I still can't believe I decided to open a pub. I think I'll call it "Skipping Beat's Pub" Even though I know that isn't very original really with the name of my tea shoppe, but well there is a door between them. It's wonderful actually. I'm putting in an arch for it.

It's wonderful to have Addison staying with me. It feels like ages ago that we actually spent time together. Or lived together for that matter. I've actually decided on opening a pub type place next door to my Tea Shoppe, I bought the space yesterday. I'm not sure what got into me, but it does seem like a good idea. At least away to being something else into the world I suppose.

I finally saw my father today for the first time in a few months. It was sort of strange. He showed up at the shoppe, I didn't even know he was in town. Addison did you know they were coming to London? I didn't have a clue, they didn't tell me. I guess Mom is doing alright, but she wanted to rest instead of coming into the tea shoppe.
I bought the space next to mine to open a bar type place, more pub like, but I'm not sure if it is going to really be a pub or not. I haven't decided yet. It is a lot of work, but I am enjoying it. Dad actually seemed to like all the ideas and plans I have, I was kind of surprised to hear that he did like them. I told him I'd come visit in a few weeks, I don't know if I actually will, but probably will.
Hey Sam can I run some of this plans past you, I need another opinion on a few things.

I can't believe how busy life has been lately. The shoppe is doing really well, and people seem to really like it. I've got a lot of regulars now that are always really friendly. I think I need to hire someone else though because we are really too busy for what we have right now. Everything is a little bit crazy, but I really do love it.
My sister stopped in yesterday which was wonderful to see her, I feel like I haven't seen her in ages. Well a week really, but it felt like a long time. She went home to visit our parents. I guess they are doing alright. I haven't talked to them in a while. I hear Dad isn't very happy about that. I think I might actually have to go home and visit them for a day or so. First I'll hire someone though. I guess I should put a help wanted sign.

I can't believe it is already Valentine's Day. Everything seems to be going really fast. We had in special cupcakes for the day and most are already gone! It's funny how many couples like coming into a small shoppe on such a 'romantic' day. At least they all seem really happy with everything in their lives.
I've got to find some good art work for the Coffee shop, I'm a bit bored with what I've got on the walls right now. Perhaps a landscape, and something a bit abstract? I'm not really sure. Other then that the coffee shop is doing really well. I've been thinking of opening a second one, or perhaps a nice bar, not a club, not anything other then a nice bar where people can talk, with out too much loud music. Who knows it's just a thought. Actually a completely crazy though, but I don't need to worry about that right now, there are so many people in today I shouldn't even be writing in this thing, but I need a break...
I've thought about visiting my parents, but I'm not really sure I want to do that. I should really think about it, maybe talk to my sister, change my mind a few times, and end up just getting a dog instead......
